How to split a dinner check and tip

Enter the final bill including tax, choose a currency, and set the number of people. Leave the tip at zero if it is already included, or choose a percentage to add. The tip is calculated on the bill you entered, rounded once to the currency’s smallest unit, and then shared equally with the bill.

For example, a bill of USD 120 with a 10% tip totals USD 132. Split between three people, each pays USD 44.00. When a total does not divide evenly, the result shows two amounts and how many people pay each: USD 100 among three people becomes USD 33.34 for one and USD 33.33 for two.
